Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

The letter responds to the situation and includes advice about a camping location, possible drawbacks, and whether you can join your friend. However, the central requirement to explain why Pawan would enjoy camping is not clearly addressed: most of the opening gives booking advice rather than describing the pleasures of the experience. The disadvantages are more relevant, especially the possibility of bad weather and insect bites, but the advice is difficult to follow in places. Your answer about joining is clear, though the reason is brief. To strengthen the response, explain specific enjoyable aspects—such as scenery, outdoor activities, or time together—and develop each point with clear, relevant detail.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The letter has a coherent overall arrangement: it opens with advice, moves to disadvantages, and ends by answering whether you can go. Paragraphing helps the reader identify these sections, and transitions such as “Apart from this” and “Additionally” show an attempt to connect ideas. This supports a clear general progression. Some links are mechanical or unclear, however, and the opening combines several ideas without a smooth sequence. For example, the shift from choosing a campsite to booking quickly would benefit from a clearer connection. Use paragraph openings that signal the task points directly, and make sure each sentence follows logically from the one before it.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You attempt a range of vocabulary relevant to camping, including “bad weather,” “weather forecast,” “protected,” and “insect bites.” These choices show you can communicate the topic, and some phrases are appropriate for an informal letter. However, frequent spelling errors and inaccurate word forms—such as “provie,” “demerit,” “forcasr,” and “Unfortunetly”—make the writing less fluent and can distract the reader. Some expressions are also unnatural, including “give you brief knowledge” and “best hike and camping site.” Check spelling carefully and choose more natural collocations, such as “give you some advice” and “a great place for hiking and camping.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

The response includes both simple sentences and attempts at more complex structures, such as the contrast in “although you will plan everything beforehand … but still you need to be prepared.” This shows some range, and the main message is generally understandable. However, sentence boundaries and punctuation are often inaccurate: “Hope you are doing well,I would love…” needs separation, while several sentences run together or lack spaces after full stops. There are also errors in verb forms and sentence construction, for example “you need to be prepare” and “these slots goes.” Aim to form complete sentences, use consistent verb agreement and forms, and proofread punctuation so that complex ideas remain clear.
