Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5

The letter responds to the camping topic and includes a possible reason for enjoyment: you mention a beach location and warmer daytime weather, and you indicate that you may join your friend. However, the task’s main points are not all adequately addressed. Most of the advice concerns packing food, water and shorts, while the disadvantages of camping are not described at all. Your explanation of why Faizan would enjoy the holiday is also limited, and “May be I will join” leaves your decision uncertain rather than clearly saying whether you would like to go. Develop each required point with a specific explanation—for example, mention an inconvenience such as insects or uncomfortable sleeping, then state clearly whether you plan to join and why.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

The ideas are presented in a generally understandable order: you begin with advice, move to the beach and weather, and then discuss possibly joining the trip. Basic linking expressions such as “First” and “And” help connect some points. However, the letter reads largely as one continuous sequence, with repeated “And” and “when” links rather than clear paragraphing or a planned progression. The shift from packing advice to your own plans could be made more clearly, and the final request for the date repeats the idea of planning and packing. Organise the letter into short paragraphs for enjoyment and practical advice, disadvantages, and your decision; use a wider range of simple links such as “Also,” “However,” and “As for joining you.”

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate basic advice, including “camping,” “beach,” “snacks,” “Food and water,” and “packing.” These words make the general subject clear, and “exact date” is a useful specific phrase. However, the vocabulary is repetitive and often imprecise or incorrectly formed, which limits how naturally the message reads. For example, “make a proper bag” does not clearly express preparing equipment, and “want to camping” uses an unsuitable form. There are also spelling errors such as “heared,” “recived,” and “possble.” Build a more precise range for the task, including phrases for benefits and drawbacks, and check spelling and common word combinations before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The response includes simple statements and some attempts to connect ideas with clauses, such as “It will help you…” and “When u recived my letter please let me know…”. The intended meaning is usually recoverable, but errors occur frequently in basic sentence patterns and verb forms. Examples include “Hope so you enjoying good health,” “You asked any advice,” “you would take,” and “i also made plan,” where auxiliary verbs, tense, or sentence structure are not controlled. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, particularly in “First i” and “snacks,Food.” Practise reliable letter openings and complete sentence patterns, such as “I hope you are well” and “You asked me for advice,” then check verb forms and punctuation in each sentence.
