Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

The letter makes a relevant attempt to advise your friend, but it only minimally addresses the requested points. You give two possible camping locations and warn about bears and snakes, yet you do not clearly explain why Harry would enjoy the holiday; saying the forests are “very good” is not developed with reasons such as scenery or outdoor activities. The disadvantages are also only partly covered through the danger of animals, without other practical drawbacks. Your answer about joining him is unclear: you say you are busy, then that you may join if your manager grants leave, so your position is not definite. Address each bullet directly and add a brief supporting detail for each.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some basic organisation: you move from places to safety advice and then to whether you can join, and the closing is recognisable as a friendly letter. However, the progression is not consistently clear, and the opening says Harry is going camping “this weekend” although the task concerns this summer. Several transitions are repetitive, especially “i am sending you this letter” and “i am telling you,” while the long final sentence combines your work situation, request for leave, and invitation without clear breaks. Use separate paragraphs for enjoyment, disadvantages, and your plans, and connect ideas with simple, accurate transitions.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use a small set of relevant words, including “camping,” “forest,” “bears,” “snakes,” and “holidays,” so the general subject is understandable. However, vocabulary is basic and repetitive, and frequent spelling and word-choice errors sometimes make the message difficult to follow: “gorgues,” “aslo,” “teeling,” “adviesd,” and “spary” obscure the intended words. Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “near by camping place” and “dangerous animals were there.” Build a more accurate range for describing the experience and its drawbacks, and check spelling carefully. For example, describe the forests as “scenic” and refer to “wildlife risks” rather than repeating general terms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The response relies mainly on simple statements, with an attempt at a longer conditional idea in “if they give me holidays i join you guys.” That sentence shows an effort to express a possibility, but the verb forms and sentence structure are not controlled. Errors are frequent across the letter, including “i this letter,” “you i join new company,” and “if you any enquiry give me call”; these make relationships between ideas unclear. There are also problems with articles, tense, and sentence boundaries. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then use a few controlled clauses, such as “If my manager approves my leave, I’ll come with you.”
