Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address all three requested points: you suggest Himachal Pradesh, mention rain and theft as possible drawbacks, and say you would like to go with Raman. The reasons for enjoyment are relevant, especially the idea that a holiday could give him a break from a busy schedule. However, the explanation is difficult to follow in places, and the disadvantages and benefits are only briefly developed. The sentence about your friend being busy and recently married does not clearly explain what he would enjoy about camping, and the opening does not establish the purpose of the letter clearly. Develop each point with a specific detail, and make your recommendation and invitation more direct.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The letter has a recognisable structure, with an opening, discussion of benefits and disadvantages, an invitation, and a closing. Paragraphing helps separate some of the main points. However, the progression within paragraphs is often unclear: the opening moves from the destination to your friendship history, while the next paragraph combines his schedule, marriage, and reasons for taking a break without clear links. Connect ideas in a more logical order and use pronouns consistently so the reader can follow who is being discussed. A few clear transitions, such as “One advantage is…” and “On the other hand…”, would make the organisation easier to follow without relying on abrupt shifts.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “camping holiday,” “beautiful,” “rain fall,” “weather,” and “valuable items,” so the main subject is identifiable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or spellings make the message harder to understand, such as “revert your letter,” “hectic schedulei,” and “I can not wait from your.” Some expressions also do not fit the intended meaning: “keep attention to your bags” is not a natural way to give this warning. Aim for accurate, natural phrases and check spelling carefully. More precise language for the benefits and drawbacks would help you explain your ideas clearly and make the letter sound more fluent.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, for example when explaining that rain could affect the trip. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to understand. The opening, “I am writing this letter this to in order to revert your letter,” contains repeated and incorrectly arranged structures. Other examples include “he still in touch me,” “he never go,” and “I can not wait from your,” where verb forms and sentence patterns are not controlled. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then join related ideas with “because,” “although,” or “if.” Check verb forms, articles, and punctuation before finishing.
