Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three points: you explain that camping offers a break from a busy life and opportunities for activities, mention possible drawbacks, and clearly say, “I would love to join you this summer.” The friendly opening and closing also suit a letter to a friend. However, some ideas are less fully explained than others: the disadvantages are listed rather than clarified, and the advice about what to bring is difficult to understand. The response is also three words below the required minimum, so add a little relevant detail—for example, explain how poor weather or insects might affect the trip and how to prepare for them.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter has a coherent overall arrangement: it opens with a greeting, moves through reasons to enjoy camping and possible disadvantages, then gives your decision and closes appropriately. “Firstly” and “Secondly” help signal the main points. However, the progression within sentences is sometimes unclear, particularly in the disadvantages section, where several pieces of advice run together. The sentence beginning “This will be wonderful experience” also joins the experience and meeting new people without a clear link. Use paragraph breaks to separate the reasons, drawbacks, and your invitation, and connect related ideas with clearer sentence boundaries and reference words.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a relevant range of vocabulary for an informal camping letter, including “escape,” “lap of nature,” “hiking,” “campfire,” and “unforgettable memories.” These choices help convey enthusiasm, and the meaning is generally understandable. However, some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unclear, especially “enjoy in the lap of nature,” “weather condition can get worst,” and “snakes and water” in the list of essentials. There are also spelling errors such as “unforgetable,” “conidition,” and “safty.” Check spelling carefully and choose natural combinations, such as “enjoy nature,” “the weather may worsen,” and “snacks and water.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including “I was delighted to hear that you are planning…” and a sentence giving examples of activities. The main message remains understandable, but some grammatical errors affect clarity. For example, “camping is great way” needs an article, while “there will few demerits” is missing “be.” The sentence “This will be wonderful experience you will get chance…” needs articles and a clearer clause structure. There are also punctuation and sentence-boundary problems, such as the run-together advice about medicine and essentials. Practise accurate articles, complete verb phrases, and separating independent ideas into clear sentences.
