Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address all three points in the task: you explain that your friend is adventurous and could meet people, mention possible muscle pain and safety concerns, and clearly say, “I would like to join you.” The friendly opening and closing also suit a personal letter. These relevant ideas meet the task well, but some are only briefly stated. For example, the benefits of meeting new people and enjoying a campfire are listed rather than explained, and the disadvantages could be clearer and more balanced. The safety advice is useful, though “get update to your parents” is not fully explained. To strengthen the response further, develop each point with a specific reason or example and make your advice more precise.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The letter has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, a paragraph about benefits, one about difficulties, and a final paragraph accepting the invitation. Linking expressions such as “First of all,” “Furthermore,” and “Moreover” help signal these stages, and the closing is appropriate. However, the progression within paragraphs is sometimes mechanical, with several ideas joined by “Also” or “so” rather than showing their relationship clearly. Some references are also difficult to follow, as in “at there have some network issue” and “we both have each other company.” Use clearer sentence boundaries and connect advice to its reason—for example, explain how staying with the group helps if there is poor network coverage.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use a range of relevant camping vocabulary, including “campfire,” “muscle pain,” “network issue,” and “group leader,” so the reader can understand the main ideas. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word choices are noticeable throughout, including “appriceat,” “geniuan,” “difficluty,” and “denzouries.” Some phrases are also unnatural or unclear, such as “you enjoy on camping,” “make a memories,” and “great boand.” These errors sometimes make the reader pause to interpret your meaning, which limits the precision of your vocabulary. Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common word partnerships, such as “go camping,” “make new friends,” and “create lasting memories.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, and the response is generally understandable. However, grammatical errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to process. Examples include “Hope, this letter find you well,” “I know you are a adavnture person,” and “you not do before,” which show problems with verb forms, articles, and sentence construction. There are also errors in plurals and agreement, as in “we both have each other company.” Punctuation and spacing are inconsistent, particularly where commas run into the next word. Focus first on accurate basic sentence patterns, such as “I hope this letter finds you well” and “You may feel muscle pain because the hike is long.” Then practise adding longer clauses while keeping the grammar controlled.
