Due to increase in criminal activities. Nowadays, many people like crime shows and books Because they like thrillers. In my opinion, these type of serials are good and help others to be careful. In this essay, I will elaborate this topics by my views.
To begin with, criminal activities are reporting in a huge number and every story is different. Individuals want to know more about it because they do not want that the same thing would happen with them. Moreover, it is also a source of entertainment for many. In free time, a majority of male and females read books related to crime fiction. They read and watch these type of stuff because it acts as a stress buster.
Furthermore, I think unlawful acts describing on Tv and books helps as a eye opening and will help to reduce mishappings. The reason for my point is that due to raise in child trafking, alot of children reported missing and kidnaped. For instance, a Tv show named Crime pateol comes with many true stories of missing kids which ends with a kidnapping and child trafking. Watching these type of episodes, many parents become more secure about their loved ones. Additionally, The another reason is curiousness, adults as well as younger ones also enjoy to watch these type of thrillers for entertainment. Now, a vast number of apps also popular such a Netflix, Hotstar and Disney, these have a number of movies and series.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the popularity of crime fiction and your personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For example, while you mention 'stress buster' and 'awareness,' these points are not fully explored or supported with deep analysis. The introduction is a bit fragmented, and the conclusion repeats the main points without adding significant insight. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a single, well-developed argument with more detailed explanation rather than listing multiple reasons briefly. The position is clear, but the overall depth of the response is limited.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or inaccurate. For instance, 'The another reason' is grammatically incorrect and disrupts the flow. Transitions between sentences are occasionally abrupt, and some sentences are fragmented (e.g., 'Due to increase in criminal activities.'). While there is a logical progression from the reasons for popularity to your opinion, the relationships between ideas could be strengthened by using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that referencing (e.g., 'these type of stuff') is precise and grammatically sound.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. You rely on repetitive phrases like 'these type of' and 'criminal activities.' There are also several spelling errors, such as 'trafking' (trafficking), 'mishappings' (mishaps), and 'pateol' (patrol). While you attempt to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'thrillers' and 'awareness,' the overall range is limited. To reach a higher band, focus on using more precise collocations and synonyms to avoid repetition, and ensure that spelling is accurate, as frequent errors can distract the reader.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'apps also popular'), incorrect article usage, and sentence fragments. For example, 'unlawful acts describing on Tv' should be 'unlawful acts described on TV.' While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and punctuation prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on sentence construction and proofreading for basic errors would significantly improve your score.
