In this contemporary era, novels based on crime and law enforced dramas are rising in popularity. This essay will shed light on the factors highlighting its popularity before reaching at my personal perspective about this concept.
The most prominent reason of escalating offensive content is suspense and excitement. To elaborate it, people usually enjoy mysteries, unexpected twists and trying to guess the solution that distract their attention from their own life going stressful issues and offer them entertainment instead. Moreover, most of the individuals have curiosity about crime and investigations owning to which they act as detectives involving in solving cases and catching criminals while watching television shows or reading fictional text.
Apart from these violated context offers learning about society and human behaviour. Furthermore, availability of online platforms boosts its popularity. with the advancement of technology many myriads of websites are available to promote crime based dramas and novels. As per my perspective, I have a partial view towards this approach. I think believe these criminal concepts can ameliorate our thinking skills because we try to analyse information and put efforts to solve problems while getting inspiration from these shows. However, watching too much violent content may have a bad influence on some people, especially children.
In conclusion, it is being observed that increasing popularity of books and novels regarding crime is mainly due to people's interest towards suspicion and entertainment, their curiosity, awareness and knowledge offered to them, and high availability of multiple online websites. Nevertheless, it is an impressive fact, but, adverse impact of offensive activities on kids minds should not be ignored.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, providing reasons for the popularity of crime fiction and expressing a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant and generally well-developed, such as the discussion on suspense and the educational value of crime dramas. However, some points, like the mention of 'online platforms,' could have been more deeply integrated into the argument regarding why these shows are popular. The position is consistent throughout the essay. To reach a higher band, ensure that all supporting examples are fully explained to avoid minor generalizations.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct ideas. Cohesive devices such as 'Moreover,' 'Apart from these,' and 'In conclusion' are used to guide the reader. However, there are some instances of slightly mechanical or awkward phrasing, such as 'reaching at my personal perspective' and 'owning to which,' which occasionally disrupt the flow. Referencing is generally clear, but the transition between the popularity of crime shows and the impact of online platforms could be smoother.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, with some attempts at less common items like 'contemporary era,' 'ameliorate,' and 'myriads.' However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice or awkward collocations, such as 'escalating offensive content' (when referring to the popularity of the genre) and 'violated context.' Additionally, there are minor errors in word formation, such as 'indian' (should be capitalized) and 'ex. situation.' The range is sufficient to convey meaning, but more precise and natural vocabulary would be needed for a higher score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is always clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as 'distract their attention from their own life going stressful issues' (awkward syntax), 'I think believe,' and 'kids minds' (missing apostrophe). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While these errors do not impede communication, they occur frequently enough to prevent a higher band score. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and refining complex sentence construction will help improve accuracy.
