Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for popularity and personal opinion. However, the development is somewhat limited. While you provide reasons such as the relatability of human conflict and the educational value regarding cybercrime, the arguments are repetitive and rely on anecdotal or questionable statistics (e.g., '50% Indian ladies'). The personal opinion is present but lacks depth, as it is only briefly mentioned in the conclusion. To reach a higher band, focus on developing your ideas with more logical, real-world examples rather than unsupported percentages, and ensure your personal stance is clearly articulated throughout the essay.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear attempt to use cohesive devices such as 'To commence with', 'furthermore', and 'In conclusion'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as the repetitive use of 'and' and the awkward phrasing 'thus, it is become more popular'. Additionally, some sentences lack smooth transitions, making the flow feel a bit disjointed. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus will help improve the overall coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it is somewhat limited and repetitive. You use basic terms like 'get a knowledge' and 'do something wrong', which lack precision. There are also some errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'interact people with real stories' and 'get a attraction of people'. To improve, try to incorporate more sophisticated vocabulary related to the topic, such as 'psychological thrillers', 'societal issues', or 'preventative measures', and focus on using words in their correct collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'if younger brother get'), incorrect verb tenses, and missing articles. For example, 'if people watch tv dramas and novel regarding it' should be 'if people watch TV dramas and read novels regarding them'. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and article usage.
