Nowadays, in several nations, crime books and television crime series are more popular because of their content and the curiosity behind the scenes. According to me , these types of trendsraise public awarness about the crime and crime laws.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for popularity and your personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention 'content' and 'curiosity' as reasons, the explanation remains quite superficial. For instance, the example of 'Crime Patrol' is relevant but lacks depth in explaining why it specifically appeals to the audience. Your opinion is stated clearly, but the argument regarding 'awareness' could be expanded with more specific examples of how these shows educate the public beyond just general statements. To reach a higher band, ensure that each point is fully explored with more detailed reasoning and clearer links to the prompt.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand', 'In addition', and 'In conclusion'. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where the connection between ideas is weak, such as the transition between the curiosity factor and the bank robbery example. Additionally, some referencing is unclear, for example, 'This is because, the tv dramas...' where the punctuation and structure disrupt the flow. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between sentences would enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is generally adequate for the task, but it is somewhat repetitive and lacks precision. You frequently use basic terms like 'good', 'types', and 'things'. There are also some errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'crime-aware the people' and 'held in the society' (should be 'occur in society'). While you attempt to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'victim' and 'tackle', the range is limited. To improve, try to incorporate more sophisticated synonyms and collocations related to the media and legal systems to demonstrate a wider lexical range.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'it have some good impacts', 'dramas uses'), article usage (e.g., 'the tv dramas'), and punctuation errors, particularly with comma placement before conjunctions. While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors prevent the writing from reaching a higher band. Focusing on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and ensuring correct sentence punctuation will significantly improve the accuracy of your writing.
