Crime novels are becoming very popular in many countries because most of people want different things in their life . They are getting boring doing same things . I will explain the reasons behind it in upcoming paragraph.
Firstly, people enjoy crime stories because they are very excited and it gives us entertainment. Readers and novels want to know about where , when and why it is happened . it gives us interesting stories . Secondly, it also provides knowledge of different profession like police officers, lawyers and judges .So, people get know about it and make a judgement why it plays an important role in our society. Thirdly, its best option to take some relaxation from hectic schedule and also improve memory by thinking of it .
In my opinion, it is best idea to get entertain by watching crime dramas. However,Most of people get inspired to do crime by watching it. They have new ideas how to do crime in society like robbery cases . It has a negative effect on society. For example , Kidnapping .People get way to earn money by kidnapping child and ask their parents to give them money if they want their children life save. These all ideas are coming from crime dramas.
In conclusion, it is very good source of entertainment but it has some negative consequences which can not be neglected. So, crime dramas promote something interesting and knowledgeable for people which is beneficial for both people and society. People love to watch these dramas.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the popularity of crime fiction and the writer's opinion. However, the development of ideas is limited. The reasons provided (entertainment, knowledge of professions, relaxation) are somewhat superficial and lack depth. The opinion section is contradictory; the writer states it is a 'best idea' to watch these dramas but then argues they promote criminal behavior, which creates confusion regarding the writer's stance. To improve, you should provide more nuanced arguments and ensure your position remains consistent throughout the essay. The conclusion also contradicts the body paragraph by claiming the genre is 'beneficial' after previously highlighting serious negative consequences.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, 'So, people get know about it' and 'These all ideas are coming from' do not effectively link ideas. The progression of ideas is sometimes disjointed, particularly in the transition between the benefits of crime fiction and the negative impact on society. While there is an attempt to use transition words like 'Firstly' and 'In conclusion', the logical flow between sentences is frequently interrupted by grammatical errors and awkward phrasing, which hinders the overall coherence of the argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. You rely on basic terms such as 'good', 'interesting', and 'different'. There are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward collocations, such as 'getting boring doing same things' instead of 'becoming bored with the same routine' and 'give us entertainment' instead of 'provide entertainment'. The phrase 'children life save' is grammatically incorrect and lacks the necessary precision for a formal essay. To reach a higher band, you need to expand your range of vocabulary to include more precise, academic terms and demonstrate a better understanding of how words collocate in English.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement ('most of people want', 'it is happened'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are simple or contain errors in complex structures, such as 'They have new ideas how to do crime in society like robbery cases'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with spaces missing before commas and periods. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors across basic and complex structures prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement would be highly beneficial.
