IELTS Writing Task 2 question
In many countries today, crime novels and TV crime dramas are becoming more and more popular. Why do you think these books and TV shows are popular? What is your opinion of crime fiction and TV crime dramas?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 4.5)
Nowadays a lot of crime television shows become main things to watch in a lot of people and so on crime novels.Reasons for that is wide, starting from enjoying the story of events in wich tehre is bad gys and good guys, espitially cups, detectives , and heros like ordinary peaople. so going throght storys whene good people luck and got thaose bad people make audiace feels good and satisfay to watch all the tv show and stay with every episode. As an example Dexter is one of the best crime tv show of all time, it have a high rigting and that becouse people like it .Dexter is a sirial killer he kills bad people that make a series of crimes. so he got the help frome his firm, be cous he works as firinziks, and he took all infos he need to take that bad guy, and in the show he orginise his work step by step to take off his victims, so that make the story tight and very good to whatch.
Reading crime novels has a lot of fans , it is becouse it feels good to read that the good peaple take of bad people, so reading those lines and staying with every word to know how the good people including cuos , detictives, NYPD, CIS, or just regular people got the criminals is something sutisfying the readers. Espicially if the criminal got with a lot of his crims.
so criminal tv shows and novels can be a good filed for a lot of peopl to have some fun.
