IELTS Writing Task 2 question
In many countries today, crime novels and TV crime dramas are becoming more and more popular. Why do you think these books and TV shows are popular? What is your opinion of crime fiction and TV crime dramas?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
In today's digital world, TV crime dramas and novels are quite famous due to their picturisation and audio-video quality. It is quite easy to get access social media, ebooks and many online platforms due to easily availbale, cost effective of internet. This essay will address different views of crime dramas and web series.
At firstly, There are numerous TV channels available on a streming platform and number of application available which are having absolutely minimal monthly price. Therefore, People can watch movies and web series easily even they are travelling or relaxing in the bed.
On other hand, Technologies grown rapidly and using VFX, Director makes crime drama super suspense and more thrilled. TV crime dramas and crime novels represents today's scenario and how the crminal thinks and what actully happening in the world in the name of crime. By reading novels or watching crime dramas, we could think, plan to avoid such type of crime. In addition, These spread awareness in public and teach them how to deal with it.
I strongley believe and recommended that we should write more crime novels and crime dramas to give truthful awareness to public to minimize crime. Goverment should encourage and give national award to best drama or novel. so creators make a new series with best concept. Adults and kids watch TV togethere. Thus, Crime dramas will teach them how to handle when actual crime happens.
People love crime free world. Thus, In many countries today, crime novels and TV crime dramas are becoming more popular.
