IELTS Writing Task 2 question
In many countries today, crime novels and TV crime dramas are becoming more and more popular. Why do you think these books and TV shows are popular? What is your opinion of crime fiction and TV crime dramas?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

In many countries today, crime novels and TV dramas are becoming more and more popular.
Why do you think these books and TV shows are popular?
What is your opinion of crime fiction and TV crime dramas? Nowadays, in many parts of the world popularity of crime based television series and books are increasing day by day. In this essay I will discuss few reasons of this develpoment, as well as briefly describe my point of view for such type of dramas and novels.
Currently, people are more addicted towards this genra. First reason is in the world crime are growing, which provides sufficient knowldege to producers and writers to make new drama and write a book. In simple words, mostly stories are based on real incidents. This make viewer more enger to watch or read that drama. For example, Crime petrol is the longest run TV crime drama in India. Secondly, the technology also play a crucial role for giving popularity. In other words, if people like something they start giving reviews, which make others keen interesed to watch and read particular content.
In my opinion, crime fictions are good to watch however, it also has some disadvantages. Firstly, by watching this shows people can start taking care of themselves. To calrify, individuals start noticing thing which looks unusal for them. For instance, nowadays people always keep tracker on in their phone, whenever they go outside of a house. On the other side, it also give some negative impact on children as they are not aware of many things, therefore there might be a chance that they can learn bad thing while watching crime darams. For instance, some children start fighting with their friends and sometime they also try to harm them.
In conclusion, enhanced the cases of real world crime scenarios and deigital media are the main reasons for this develpoment. Although, I presonally think it is good for taking care of ourselves, but it is bad for teeanage children as they try to implement some unusal actions to take revange from anyone.
