Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this concurrent world, since crime upsurges, crime books and dramas are published oftenly due to which the books are gaining popularity as people get ideas from such books. I believe the best is to combine the two moderation.
Nowadays, people are much interested in the criminal stories rather then romantic fictions. The highlighted investigation in novels and movies shows a sense of curiosity which makes the show suspenseful and thrilling. At the same time, it fosters people to learn new techniques like self defence. To the pertinent, the renowned series "The night agent" is the undercover agent guiding inidividuals how to self defence at dire consequences. To escape such jeopardy situations individuals try to learn a lot from such pivotal shows.
On the other side of the spectrum, henious crime stories may set up the unpredicament situations for the individuals. As people would take it as a negative example. For instance, It shows the ideas and the incentive to follow the story of murder. Additionally, the dramas give fradulent information as it is not based on true stories. It is designed to be captivative for the entertainment and gain public attention. But its a misconception and individuals try to follow rather then a feasiable approach. Due to such deterimental problems the lastest crime rate increases ubruptly compared to 4 years ago even the criminals are junvenile. Hence, educational ficion and moral stories contributes to congnitive development rather then such murder stories.
In the nutshell, Nevertheless the different approaches has different stories but thinking mindful is pivotal. The crime stories has benefits due to generating curiosity and exploring new ideas but at the same time it is not worthwhile as it cannot be used in legitimate way by individuals. Hence, according to me one must observe and catch things in positive way which will not harm others.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both questions: you suggest that suspense and curiosity attract audiences, and you give a mixed opinion, noting both possible learning benefits and risks. The example of “The Night Agent” also helps make your discussion more specific. However, the reasons for popularity are not fully explained, and some claims—such as crime stories teaching self-defence or crime rates rising because of these dramas—are asserted without clear support. Your view is present, but “combine the two moderation” is unclear, and the conclusion does not fully clarify what balance you recommend. Develop each main point with a clear explanation or relevant example, and state your opinion directly and consistently.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for benefits and risks, and a conclusion. This gives the reader a basic route through your ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: the move from suspense to self-defence, for example, needs a clearer link, and the claim about rising crime rates appears abruptly. Connectors such as “At the same time,” “On the other side of the spectrum,” and “Hence” are used, but some transitions feel mechanical or do not show the precise relationship between ideas. Improve cohesion by grouping related points, using clear topic sentences, and making references such as “it” and “such shows” unmistakable.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt a range of topic-related and less common vocabulary, including “suspenseful,” “undercover agent,” “jeopardy,” and “cognitive development.” This shows an effort to express nuanced ideas. However, frequent inaccurate word choices, collocations, and spelling errors sometimes make the meaning difficult to interpret. Examples include “published oftenly,” “the two moderation,” “unpredicament situations,” and “captivative”; several intended words are also misspelled, such as “heinous,” “fraudulent,” and “detrimental.” Some phrases sound unnatural, including “follow the story of murder.” Prioritise accurate, natural combinations over ambitious vocabulary, and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses beginning with “since,” “as,” and “which.” This gives you some structural variety, but complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make parts of the response hard to follow. For example, “the crime stories has benefits” has subject–verb disagreement, while “the renowned series … is the undercover agent” has an unclear sentence structure. There are also problems with articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries, as in “the different approaches has different stories.” Work on building accurate basic sentences first, then add subordinate clauses; check that each subject matches its verb and that each sentence expresses a complete, clear idea.
