In today's era, the popularity of crime dramas and novels is increasing among people in numerous countries. There can be multiple reasons behind it as the interest rate of people is getting more in suspense and thrill; and moreover it is cheaper version of entertainment and easily afforable by almost everyone. In my opionion fictional stories by any mean even drama and book , it is worth watching.
To begin with, in day to day life, everybody is busy performing their daily chores and to make their life exciting they want some thrill and suspense in their life; however, being a searcher for it, they end up in watching crime dramas and reading fictional movies moreover, it donot require any company as it is solitary activity. To exemplify, every outdoor games such as cricket, football and other games need a group of people or company to enjoy; however, watching movies, drama and reading novels is equally fun providing without which also donot require any team and can be watched anywhere and anytime.
To add on, books and TV shows are pocket friendly as well. As everything is getting more and more expensive day by day that a normal man cannot afford most of the source of entertainment ; however, reading books and watching TV can considered as cheapest and best version of entertainment for them. As an example, every library have numerous crime fictional books and everybody can borrow them from library so without even spending a single penny a person can enjoy numerous books and later give back to library when done with reading.
To put everything in nutshell, crime fiction and TV crime drama is best for children as well because it increase their power of thinking and imaginations. It almost have no negatives if watched under the guidance of parents.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both parts of the prompt: you explain popularity through the appeal of suspense and the affordability of books and television, then give a positive opinion of crime fiction. The library example usefully supports the affordability point, and the discussion of enjoying these activities alone adds another relevant reason. However, the opinion is only briefly stated—“it is worth watching”—and the final claim that crime dramas are “best for children” is not explained or clearly connected to your view of crime fiction overall. Develop your opinion with a specific reason or example, and explain how crime stories benefit or affect viewers. This would make the response more fully developed and balanced across the task.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two paragraphs explaining popularity, and a concluding paragraph giving your view. Topic phrases such as “To begin with” and “To add on” help signal the main points, and the library example follows logically from the affordability argument. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. The first body paragraph shifts from seeking excitement to watching alone and then to outdoor games, so the relationship between these points could be made more explicit. The repeated use of “however” also sometimes creates a contrast where the ideas are not opposites. Organise each paragraph around one central reason and use clearer links between the explanation and its example.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “suspense,” “thrill,” “solitary activity,” and “pocket friendly,” which helps communicate your main ideas. There is some attempt to vary expression, but several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or awkward, such as “the interest rate of people is getting more,” “fictional movies” when referring to novels, and “cheapest and best version of entertainment.” Spelling errors such as “afforable” and “opionion” also reduce accuracy. These issues do not prevent the reader from understanding the overall argument, but they make parts of it less clear and natural. Build a more precise range of topic vocabulary and check spelling and common word combinations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “as,” “because,” and “however,” and the overall meaning is generally understandable. However, some complex sentences are difficult to follow because of faulty construction, as in “being a searcher for it, they end up in watching crime dramas” and “watching TV can considered.” There are also errors in agreement and verb forms, for example “every library have” and “it increase their power,” as well as problems with articles and sentence punctuation. Aim to make each sentence’s main clause clear, then check subject–verb agreement and verb forms. More accurate control of these patterns would make your ideas easier to read.
