It is true that in some countries toady, crime novels and TV crime drames are becoming more and more popular. There are several reasons that crime books and TV shows are popular. Although childreen should not watch crime fiction and TV crime dramas because they became more aggrsseive.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both questions: you suggest that crime stories attract audiences through suspense, entertainment and opportunities to solve mysteries, and you give an opinion that they can be enjoyable and educational if handled responsibly. However, the position is not consistently clear. The opening warns that children should not watch these programmes, while the conclusion gives a more positive, qualified view. Several supporting points are also unclear or insufficiently explained, such as the claim that viewers may become criminals or that watching crime stories can lead to police or army jobs. Develop the reasons for popularity more fully and make your opinion consistent, explaining when crime fiction is beneficial or harmful.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the contrast between popularity and possible effects gives it some overall organisation. You also use signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand” and “In conclusion.” However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow: the first body paragraph moves from audience interest to robbery, thinking skills, earnings and reading without clearly connecting these points. Some linking is mechanical or inaccurate, and the sentence beginning “Which can make people…” is left as a fragment rather than being joined to the previous idea. Group related points, use clearer references, and explain how each example supports the paragraph’s main idea.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “crime novels,” “audience,” “entertainment,” “unexpected” and “complex,” and the conclusion expresses the central ideas more precisely with “suspense” and “solve mysteries.” Overall, however, the range is limited and errors in spelling, word choice and collocation are frequent enough to make parts of the response difficult to understand. Examples include “crime drames,” “crime stroy,” “more encouraged to think and prediction,” and “higher job likes police and army.” Some words are repeated, particularly “crime story” and “popular.” Build a bank of accurate topic phrases and check spelling and word forms; choose expressions that convey the intended meaning directly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some longer structures, including a contrast with “Although” and sentences beginning “If children watch…,” but control is inconsistent. Many sentences contain errors in agreement, verb forms, articles or sentence construction, for example “watching crime fiction and TV crime dramas have,” “they does not get,” and “they want be crime.” The opening “Although…” clause is not completed as a full sentence, and “Which can make people…” is also a fragment. Punctuation and spacing around commas and full stops are frequently inaccurate, which makes sentence boundaries harder to follow. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with subordinate clauses and check subject–verb agreement and complete clauses.
