A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work. In your letter

• explain why you want to do voluntary/unpaid work at the museum
• describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful
• give details of when you would be available for work

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter regarding part time work at your museum. I would like to do voluntary work at the museum to improve my communication skills and general knowledge.

I was enjoy studing history subject in school. I have completed my graduation in Bachelor of Arts in History recently. Besides education I also have knowledge of antique things. I also write an article on historical items in Time of India Magazine. I got so much appreciation after that article. So I would decide to work at museum. I am sure my knowledge on antique items will definitely help the tourists to know the details about the historical things. Through detail explanation and communication will help to attract more tourists at the museum.

It would be great if you could grant me to work voluntarily at the museum. I would like to join for three hours in the evening from next Sunday, as I will be out of town until then.
