A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work. In your letter
- explain why you want to do voluntary/unpaid work at the museum
- describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful
- give details of when you would be available for work

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter in response to the advertisement regarding the hiring of an unpaid voluntary worker for the museum in The News Daily. Recently, I have completed my master's degree in History and I am looking for a work that can provide me an experience which will be helpful to kick start my professional journey. Moreover, I am free for 3 months before i start my job at The Art museum in Paris. So, I wanted to work in a museum to learn some skills which will come in handy. I am well versed in carbon dating, record keeping and human interactions. It will be easy for me to hold the grip of day-to-day operations in your museum. Moreover, I had received a gold medal in research and development area for my excellent work on artifacts from The Mughals time and making a detailed report for the same. I am available to work from Monday to Saturday in the mornings every week. In addition to that, I live near the museum and daily commute will not affect my working hours.
