A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work. In your letter

• explain why you want to do voluntary/unpaid work at the museum
• describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful
• give details of when you would be available for work

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir/Madam,

The intention of my email today is to apply for the position of volunteer at the museum.

Addressing my interest in applying for the position, I personally feel that It is an excellent opportunity for me to enhance my communication skills and gain valuable experience. Not only will it help me to get high-paying job in a marketing sector in the coming years, but also it will enable me to become a more self-disciplined and a reponsible person.

Considering my skills, I have been working as part-time team member at school event organizing team, I have learned team collaboration and management skills there, which are going to add value to the team at your museum.

Certainly, I would like to confirm my full time availability on the weekdays and morning time on weekends as well. I would appreciate it if you could consider me for this position at your museum. I sincerely value your support in this matter. Additionally, keeping open and consistent communication with each other would be highly beneficial.
