A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work. In your letter

• explain why you want to do voluntary/unpaid work at the museum
• describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful
• give details of when you would be available for work

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir,

I am writing in response to the part-time job at the museum. I will like to do some voluntary work at the museum.

Let me explain why i want to do the unpaid work at the museum is because i am a student of art currently on holiday. I want to use the opportunity to know more about arts. Things concerning museum excite me more. I will like to meet and work with people that i will from.

I have a good communication skills which is a good skill to work in museum. I also possess some qualities like teamwork and problem-solving which will help me to work well with others and in handling tasks.

I am available from next week being 20th of July. I am on one month holiday which will help by 20th of next month. Looking for to hearing from you.
