Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

You have addressed all three bullet points required by the prompt: explaining your motivation, describing your skills, and stating your availability. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter. However, the development of your ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, while you mention your interest in volunteering, expanding slightly on why this specific museum appeals to you would have strengthened the response. Similarly, the description of your skills is a bit list-like. To improve, ensure that each point is fully extended with relevant details to demonstrate a more comprehensive engagement with the task requirements.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The letter follows a logical structure with a clear introduction, body paragraphs for each requirement, and a closing. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'Secondly' and 'not only this', which help the reader follow your points. However, the transition between ideas is sometimes mechanical, and the paragraphing could be more distinct. Some sentences are slightly disjointed, such as the shift from your childhood interest to your current job. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph focuses on a single, well-developed idea will help you achieve a higher band score for coherence.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

Your vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing you to communicate your message clearly. You use some relevant terms like 'voluntary work', 'data entry', and 'communication skills'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'foundation that works for museum' instead of 'organization' or 'institution', and 'busied day' instead of 'busiest'. To reach a higher band, try to incorporate more precise vocabulary related to professional settings and avoid repetitive phrasing. Expanding your range of synonyms and ensuring correct word forms will significantly enhance your writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You demonstrate a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures. While your meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with verb tenses ('teachers teach us', 'if i do something... its been') and articles ('the Museum', 'the kinder garden'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with some missing commas and incorrect capitalization. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and consistent tense usage. While these errors do not prevent communication, they are frequent enough to impact the overall fluency of your writing. Proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy will help you move up to a higher band.
