A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work. In your letter

• explain why you want to do voluntary/unpaid work at the museum
• describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful
• give details of when you would be available for work

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir,

I am pleased to know that your museum which is situated close to my house is looking for voluntary/unpaid work. I had always been fascinated by the museums and their calm and visual learning oriented envoirnment. Since my childhood i was always eager to visit museums and was astonished by the beautiful artifacts and today still I have the same passion for the museums and when I got to learn that your museum is looking for some workers I saw my childhood dream in front of my eyes again. I could become a museum worker by profession but was not able to become one due various circumstances. But i do not want miss this beautiful oppurtunity and I shall be very thankful to you if you hire me for this work.
