My final year project is based on the management and guidance of visitors. So, I believe that a part time job at museum is the best way to improve my skills.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
You have successfully addressed all three bullet points in the prompt. You clearly explained your motivation for volunteering, highlighted relevant skills such as tour management and multilingualism, and provided specific availability for the summer period. The tone is appropriate for a formal application letter. To reach a higher band, ensure that your ideas are fully developed; for instance, while you mention speaking 15 languages, providing a brief example of how this would specifically benefit the museum's visitors would strengthen your argument. Overall, the response is well-focused and meets the requirements of the task effectively.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter follows a logical progression, moving from the purpose of the letter to your qualifications and finally your availability. Paragraphing is used to separate these distinct ideas, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use some cohesive devices, such as 'So' and 'As I am', though the flow could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'Furthermore', 'Consequently', 'In addition'). Some transitions between sentences feel slightly mechanical, but the overall structure is clear and easy to follow throughout the response.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'practically observed', 'management', and 'productive'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'get command on my work' (should be 'gain experience' or 'master my duties') and 'museum is one of the best place' (should be 'places'). While you attempt to use more sophisticated language, these minor errors occasionally affect the precision of your expression. Expanding your vocabulary to include more precise professional collocations would help elevate your score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement ('My studies completely revolves', 'museum is one of the best place') and article usage ('apply for the a volunteer work'). Additionally, there are minor punctuation and capitalization issues, such as 'It is exactly' following a comma. While these errors are noticeable, they do not impede communication. To improve, focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and ensuring consistent use of articles and pluralization.
