A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work. In your letter

• explain why you want to do voluntary/unpaid work at the museum
• describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful
• give details of when you would be available for work

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to volunteer myself to extend my support to the museum.

This museum has played vital role in my childhood before I moved to another province to pursue my further studies. I used to visit here often with my friends as it offered various ancient books and rare sculptures. Before social media, this museum was the only place for my generation to make friends. I would love to be a part of an organization which taught us about ancient history and cultures.

My majors are accounting. However, I am an experienced assistant manager with expertise in on-hand skills of inventory management, staff scheduling and payroll policies. Moreover, I am an amazing team player, with fluent in total of 4 foreign languages.

Keeping the work-life balance in mind, my availability will be as follows, from First week of April to Second week of August:

Monday to Wednesday - Anytime before 5:00PM,

Friday and Saturday - 9:30 AM to 4:30PM only. I won't be able to work on any national holidays.

I wish my skills and experience will be good enough to qualify for any of volunteering positions. Looking to hear from you soon.
