A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work. In your letter

• explain why you want to do voluntary/unpaid work at the museum
• describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful
• give details of when you would be available for work

Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to express my interest in participating the voluntary works of museum.

Myself Nilay Shah, History graduate, 22 years old. Momentarily, my major subject is on Historical Monuments. Therefore, it would be an enriching experience for my career to perform a practical work of the respected field. Moreover, the location of the palace is near to my residential location which would be convenient for me to daily commute.

Regarding my expretise , I am a proficient english language user, and have an indepth knowledge of artifacts which are kept for viewing to the tourists. Hence, I could articulate the musuem in front of foreigners and local public in well organized and structured mannner.

Since I am pursuing my bachelor's currently, I am available on weekends for the full day. Moreover, I can also offer my service when there is a holiday in my college. Lastly, I look forward to hearing from you regarding your response for this unpaid work.
