A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work. In your letter

• explain why you want to do voluntary/unpaid work at the museum
• describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful
• give details of when you would be available for work

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I hope you are doing well. I would like to apply for a volunteer position at a museum. Although I am working part-time as a security guard, I wanted to gain experience working as a volunteer because I am planning to join police services. So volunteering is quite impactful in order to get selected in a police.

Because I am working as a security guard, I have some useful qualities that would be great for working in a museum. First of all, I have great communication skills which could be useful in a museum because I can give people a museum tour and explain them clearly about every object. Secondly, I know three languages, so I can explain in languages to people about every monument pictures and objects placed in a museum.

Since, I am working as a part-time as a security guard, my availability is flexible. If I get selected, I could join in a week. Thanks for considering my job application.
