A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work. In your letter

• explain why you want to do voluntary/unpaid work at the museum
• describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful
• give details of when you would be available for work

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to apply for the volunteering work, kindly accept my application regarding it.

I have recently completed my graduation in the field of history. And; before I start my further education in the Master's degree, I am interested in gaining the practical exposure of the subjects I learnt so far. Furthermore, I have been to the Museum multiple times and the antiques in there amazed me all the time.

Meanwhile, my skills can be useful to the job position as I consider myself a good communicator and have a grasp on my language. On the top of that, I have read several non-fictional books on the historic events happened in the past. With this qualities, I am able to share the knowledge and give specifics about the antiques in the museum.

In my availability, I can work 40 hours a week on the weekdays. To some extent, I have no objection working on weekends some times.
