A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work. In your letter

• explain why you want to do voluntary/unpaid work at the museum
• describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful
• give details of when you would be available for work

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to express my interest in a part-time volunatry work at the museum which you advertised on The Tribune Newspaper.

I would like to do unpaid work at your museum for several reasons. Firstly, I have freindly nature and would like to meet new people. While meeting new people I could improve my communication skills and get to know about different culture and tradition. Moreover, I can help people finding books, collecting entry fee and so on. Apart from these, I would also get a valuable experience while performing my job duties in the museum.

I have been working in a grocery store for two years, where I developed strong communication skill which I could utilize to help people in the museum. In addition, I work their as a cashier, so I can collect entry fee from the visitors and help my colleagues organize the museum.

I would be available from 9 am to 12 pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends. I would be happy to change my schedule if needed.
