A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work. In your letter

• explain why you want to do voluntary/unpaid work at the museum
• describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful
• give details of when you would be available for work

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter to inform you about my interest to be volunteer at the Shivaji museum.

I am a big fan of historical places and monuments. Moreover, the ancient sculptures and arts always fascinates me. I always excited to describe history to adults and children. Although I am staying near to the museum so I have a convenience to commute by walking.

First of all, I have thorough knowledge of the Shivaji dynasty, and there are many of their war weapons in the museum. Also, I love to explain history to people with my excellent communication skills.

I will be available every weekend from 8 am in morning to 5 pm in evening. My schedule might change sometimes but I will inform it before a week in advance.

Please consider my request for this voluntary work even if it's unpaid. I am expecting your response soon.
