A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work. In your letter

• explain why you want to do voluntary/unpaid work at the museum
• describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful
• give details of when you would be available for work

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to show my interest to do part time work as a volunteer in the museum as I am aware that it is totally unpaid work still I want this job.

The prominent reason for this work is that I want to gain experience for my future job which requires previous team work or leadership experience. Consequently I want to enhance my skills while doing such a voluntary work.

I had taken part in college activities as a volunteer so I already know much about the managing things also how to lead a team. Despite, I also have good communication abilities to behave politely with tourists.

I would have 2 months to serve the museum because I am at summer vocation. I would be able to start from August 20 until October 20. Moreover, I can work everyday from 9am to 5pm.

I hope you would provide me such a great opportunity. I am looking forward to hearing from you.
