A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work. In your letter

• explain why you want to do voluntary/unpaid work at the museum
• describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful
• give details of when you would be available for work

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear sir or Madam,

I am writing to enquire about volunteer job of security in your museum.

I want to do this job because i have 5 years experience as a security worker with blue cross company. I want to gain some more experience as i want to complete prerequisite for police job , and being volunteer for security guard is basic one .

I am very reliable person along with that i have good communication skills which are required for security guard . Moreover, i know 4 languages that are english, french, punjabi and hindi which are helpful to communicate with people from different communities.

I will able to start my job from 1 September as My studies will be done untill that time .
