A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work. In your letter

• explain why you want to do voluntary/unpaid work at the museum
• describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful
• give details of when you would be available for work

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing letter to inform you that I am interested to do part-time voluntary work at museum as I am living in next street, it is very convenient for me to commute.

Firstly, I just completed my first term and having a summer holidays so it is very great opportunity for me to be a part of a history museum volunteer. I like to spent my vacant time for developing my skills and knowledge for history which will be useful for my career.

Secondly, I am planning to choose history subject for my graduation so for that I developed some skills such as, management and leadership. Moreover, I have some qualities like kind and confident towards my work, which all will be helpful for museum.

Lastly, as I am free right now I can start work as soon as possible. Furthermore, I am attached my cv and other certificates of voluntary work just look at once it might be helpful for you to take decision.
