A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work. In your letter

• explain why you want to do voluntary/unpaid work at the museum
• describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful
• give details of when you would be available for work

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter for application regarding an opportunity of unpaid part time work at the Marine museum.

I am really excited to serve as volunteer for the museum because of two reasons. Firstly, I have been collector of historical artifacts from my childhood as my father was the managing director of a fossils gallery. Moreover, unpaid work provides me with a sense of serving back to a society. In past not only I developed skills such as bookkeeping while doing volunteer work for the BAPS charity but also developed skills like leaderships, management and team work. Moreover, I am working as fulltime a contractor or a fossil preservation company which makes me familiar with required skills like, carbon dating, fossil reading, preservation and fragile handling

Although I won't be able to work for week days because of my work but I will be available on to help on weekends. In addition, if required I can do tasks online from home such as bookkeeping, scheduling and preparing sops.
