A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work. In your letter

• explain why you want to do voluntary/unpaid work at the museum
• describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful
• give details of when you would be available for work

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my interest in a part-time voluntary work at the museum.

I want to do voluntary work as I want to gain some experience which would help me to find a good career options in the future and also show my dedication towards a job. Moreover, it would add a positive expression while applying for a job.

I have in-depth knowledge about this museum as it is near to my home and since I have visited there many times. I have also read about it in detail, so I am aware about its history. I can explain it to visitors very well. In addition, I have excellent interpersonal skills such as, communication, cooperation, and teamwork that are perfectly align with the role that I am applying for.

I am student, so during weekdays I have to attend classes, however; my schedule is flexible on weekends, I can work anytime according to your preferences.
