A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work. In your letter

• explain why you want to do voluntary/unpaid work at the museum
• describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful
• give details of when you would be available for work

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to express my interest for a part time voluntary position in a museum that is located near my home and I saw this advertisement in our local newspaper as well.

I would like to do unpaid work at the museum because it would help in my professional career. Many companies prefer to have an employees who have done any voluntary work because it allows them to check employees potential about their work. Also, it can help me to understand deeply our history.

I believe that my communication and other interpersonal skills would be helpful because this position needs a person who can deliver various stories in a good way, by which other people can understand easily.

For my availability, I would be available on weekdays after 5:00 PM and I am flexible for weekend hours.
