A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work. In your letter

• explain why you want to do voluntary/unpaid work at the museum
• describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful
• give details of when you would be available for work

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

Dear Sir,

I hope you are doing great. I am writing this to respond to an advertisement for the voluntary work in your museum. I saw this advertisement on social media that you are looking for part-time workers. I am very passionate about applying for this position.

I have several reasons to do this job. Firstly, this unpaid work will help me to gain more valuable experience and sufficient knowledge about our roots. Secondly, the working atmosphere would support me to be comfortable with people while communicating on various topics.

Coming to the skills and qualities, I am from an Army background and I have some qualities in my genes including, time management, excellent communication, and strong team management. I believe these skills would be useful in performing any challenging task.

I would prefer to do this job only on weekends from morning to evening at any time depending on your schedule. In addition, I am not available on the 13th of October because I have to attend my sister's engagement. After this I am fully available to work on weekends.

I would appreciate it if you can provide me this opportunity to contribute my time and skills towards your organization.
