Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

You have addressed all three bullet points required by the prompt: your motivation for volunteering, your relevant skills, and your availability. However, the third bullet point regarding your availability is missing from the content of your letter. You mentioned your desire to improve skills and your language abilities, but you failed to state when you are free to work. To improve, ensure you explicitly answer every part of the prompt. The ideas are relevant, but the development is somewhat repetitive, particularly regarding your desire to gain experience, which is mentioned multiple times without adding new depth.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The letter lacks a clear paragraph structure, which makes the flow of information feel disjointed. You have used some cohesive devices like 'Moreover' and 'Furthermore,' which is positive, but the text is broken into very short, fragmented lines that do not constitute proper paragraphs. This makes the letter look like a list of sentences rather than a cohesive piece of writing. To improve, group your ideas into logical paragraphs: one for your motivation, one for your skills, and one for your availability. Ensure that your sentences are linked smoothly to create a professional tone.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it is quite basic and contains some errors. For example, you used 'god' instead of 'good' and 'individuels' instead of 'individuals.' You also rely on simple phrasing like 'do better' or 'good news.' To reach a higher band, try to use more precise vocabulary related to professional settings, such as 'contribute,' 'proficient,' or 'flexible.' You also have some spelling errors that should be addressed to ensure your writing appears professional and polished.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are several grammatical errors throughout the text, such as 'it helps would help me,' 'that makes me different,' and 'your's truly.' The sentence structure is often repetitive, relying on simple clauses. There are also issues with punctuation and capitalization, such as starting new lines for single phrases, which disrupts the grammatical flow. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and ensure that you use standard punctuation. Try to incorporate a wider variety of complex sentence structures, such as using relative clauses or conditional sentences, while ensuring they are punctuated correctly.
