A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work. In your letter
- explain why you want to do voluntary/unpaid work at the museum
- describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful
- give details of when you would be available for work
You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this express my interest to work at your museum.
During my summer break, I always like to do some kind of voluntary work besides my other job. And since my childhood, I love spending time in museums, therefore by working there I would not only help you but I will have fun too.
I have been to your museum before and I have knowledge of almost everything which is there. So I would help the visitors by explaining them about the art works and all of the ancient items that you have there. Moreover, I will be happy help you with cleaning tasks too.
As I will be working during mornings at my other job, I will be available most evenings between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. . And I will be going back to my school in September so, I can not work after that.
I hope you will accept my application to work there and I am happy to discuss my availabilities and responsibilities with you after that.
