A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work. In your letter

• explain why you want to do voluntary/unpaid work at the museum
• describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful
• give details of when you would be available for work

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this letter to show my interest for the available part-time position in Museum. I completely understand the work is voluntary therefore I will not be getting paid for the task.

I'm a ninth grade student studying in Northern high school where students are expected to complete 20 hours of work in a week by getting to employed anywhere in the locality to learn time management and team work. Henceforth, the given job description aligns with requirements provided by my school which will work in my best interest to build my communication skills as well.

I would like highlight few skills and qualities that I have which might be useful working for you. I have ability to learn things at a rapid speed, being punctual is something I pride myself for. Lastly I have a way to build rapport with unknowns which I feel will be helpful in having interactions with the visitors present at museum.

In the end as mentioned above I'm full-time student but I have a open schedule for weekends and also available on Thursday's in the evening.
