A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work. In your letter

• explain why you want to do voluntary/unpaid work at the museum
• describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful
• give details of when you would be available for work

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear sir,

I am writing this letter regarding the part-time unpaid work available at the museum. I would like to volunteer for the work at museum.

I am very keen of learning new things about the historical artifacts and sciences. The opportunity of working at the museum will be of great way to gain more knowledge about the history as it is my major in college also.

Moreover, i have great management qualities that are required for smooth operations and working of museum. I also have good communiation skills which combined with my knowledge of history will be of great use for the visitors.

Lastly, i have read in the pamphlet that there are two slots available for part-time work. I would like to apply for the evening slot which will be more suitable for me given my schedule of the college. Also, at weekends i will be available for both of the time slots.
