A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work. In your letter

• explain why you want to do voluntary/unpaid work at the museum
• describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful
• give details of when you would be available for work

Dear Sir,

I am writting this letter to express my interest in working your museum as a part-time volunteer.

I am very keen to learn about ancient sculpture and objects. Subsequently, it seems to me an advantageous opportunity as it will encourage my interest as well as it will be beneficial in my educational goals. Additionally, I can make my leisure time worthy while working there by gaining some practical experiences.

Moreover, I have plenty of knowlege about the instruments available in museum due to my studies in history subjects. Another cardinal factor is that I have good communication skills which will be helpful for visitors to make their visit enjoyful.

Currently, I am a student in college therefore, I will be able to this job part-time on weekends only.
