A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work. In your letter

• explain why you want to do voluntary/unpaid work at the museum
• describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful
• give details of when you would be available for work

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to show my intrest for part time unpaid work in the museum, which is very closed to my house. I have been looking for voluntary work so, as it gives me inner peace and opportunity to learn more about history. Engaging myself with historical data will not only enhance my theoretical knowledge but also will help me in my acadamic.

I have almost three years of experience with customer care service, which makes me perfect for this role. Moreover I have good communication and leadership skills. I am also good at cleaning and organizing things in proper manner effectively. Therefore, my skills will suits exactly according to your requirements.

My availability on weekdays are after 2 PM however, on weekends I can work full day. Apart from this on public holidays and on festival days I can work anytime. Please contact me for further information. Thank you for your time and consideration. I will wait for your positive prompt response.
