A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work. In your letter

• explain why you want to do voluntary/unpaid work at the museum
• describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful
• give details of when you would be available for work

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Director,

I am writing to apply for doing part-time voluntary/unpaid work at your museum. I received this information from one of my friend.

I like to work voluntary at the museum because I am very keen in history and social science. When I was a kid my parents always take me to the museum in my vacation. From that periodof time I liked to learn our past history as well as to gather some precious arts from the souvenir. I have school break for 3 months and I would like to utilise that time in do unpaid job in the field which I am really ineterested.

I have past experience working in a library. I was responsible to maintain the cleanliness and organising the books and room properly. Moreover I was keeping record of every books and inventory. Therefore this skill will help to maintain the museum tidy.

I would be availabe to work from 1st June to 30th August fro morning 8 am to 5 pm.

Hope you consider me for working as a unpaid job. I am waiting for your response.
