A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work. In your letter

• explain why you want to do voluntary/unpaid work at the museum
• describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful
• give details of when you would be available for work

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir,

I am writing this to apply for the unpaid voluntary work at the museum. I have been always passionate to explore more about our history and culture and I think this would be great opportunity for me to work in such place where I can get a chance to meet different personalities and also broden my knowledge of ancient things.

I personally believe that I am a good listener with sharp mind and responsible person which can help people to listen their queries with patience and assist them according to their needs. Moreover, I am friendly nature extrovert personality who can engage with visitors very easily and entertain them by providing them history knowledge in a story way to build their interest and I think people like it most when they have a toor guider with these qualities.

For now, I am available from Monday to Friday from 12:30PM to 5:30PM and occasionally available for weekend for 5 hours either Saturday or Sunday. Also, I can change my schedule according to museum hours if you want.
