A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work. In your letter

• explain why you want to do voluntary/unpaid work at the museum
• describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful
• give details of when you would be available for work

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this letter regarding the voluntary work at the museum, It is close to my house. The museum is looking for individuals who are interested in doing unpaid work so I am available.

Since childhood, I have been extremely fond of museums so I usually visit them with my parents on weekends. I just accomplished my studies and I am free in the evenings after work. Thats why I would like to join museum and I am interested in looking after the old art work and monuments, I think I would be best candidate for help.

I have been visiting in the museums for the decades, and I have an idea how to make a museum attractive while displaying any sort of paintings or other artistic things. Additionally, I could facilitate in cleaning and dusting because last time when I was here it was quite dusty.

I am free in the evenings so I could join anytime when you need me between 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. I would be happy to be the part of this work and would like to acquire more knowledge while working.
