A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work. In your letter

• explain why you want to do voluntary/unpaid work at the museum
• describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful
• give details of when you would be available for work

I am writing to inform you that I am interested to work as a voluteer worker in the museum. During my summer vacation, I would love to grab this opportunity to utilize my time in doing an appropriate task, which will prove to be beneficial in developing my skills as well as gaining experience.

I have a good communication skills, and quality to help people effectively. I can even work under pressure in a busy hours. Moreover, I visited this museum several times, as it is very close to my house. I have a detailed information about this place, which will definitely help me to perform this job in a proper manner. I have attached my resume for your consideration.

I would be available for this job from Monday to Saturday 10 to 5pm. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss how I can contribute to your team.
