Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing a letter about to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum. I want to know more about the culture and history of the country.
I would like to do voluntary work because I want to share my knowledge with people who visits meseum first time about the ancient things in the museum and I think it is my responsibility to educate people about our cultural and historical items which is placed in the museum.
I have good communication and teaching skills and these both skills will be helped in to understand people's questions and queries and I will give correct answer of the questions. This practice will motivate me to gain more information about history.
Nowadays, I am working as a teacher in high school during weekdays but I am available on weekends from 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. I am so excited to get this opportunity and I will ensure

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address all three requested points: you explain your interest in learning about culture and history, describe communication and teaching skills, and state that you are available at weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Your reasons are relevant, especially the wish to help visitors understand the exhibits. However, some ideas are less fully developed than others: the motivation to learn about the country is not clearly connected to the later aim of educating visitors, and you could specify how your teaching experience would help with particular museum duties. The application is understandable, but the closing promise about avoiding complaints is less suitable than a confident, professional statement about contributing to the museum.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The letter follows a broadly sensible order, moving from your reason for applying to your skills and then your availability. Paragraph breaks also help distinguish these points. However, the progression within the opening is not fully clear: “I am writing a letter about to do…” is followed by a separate reason, and the next paragraph repeats the wish to volunteer without a smooth link. Connections such as “because” and “but” are used, but some sentences contain several ideas joined together, making the relationships harder to follow. Organise each paragraph around one clear purpose and use more precise links between your motivation, relevant experience, and availability.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the task, including “communication and teaching skills,” “queries,” and “cultural and historical items,” so your meaning is generally clear. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or repetitive. For example, “do some voluntary/unpaid work” repeats the task wording, while “get complain” and “correct answer of the questions” are not natural expressions. There are also spelling errors in “meseum” and “visits,” which reduce the accuracy of the letter. Aim for more natural application language and check spelling and word forms; this will make your message sound more confident and professional.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, and the reader can understand the main message. Some grammatical errors remain, particularly in agreement and sentence construction. In “people who visits,” the verb should agree with the plural noun; “items which is placed” also needs plural agreement. The opening phrase “I am writing a letter about to do…” is structurally unclear, and “these both skills will be helped in to understand” has an incorrect passive construction and preposition pattern. The long sentence beginning “I would like to do voluntary work because…” would be clearer if divided into shorter clauses. More accurate agreement and simpler, controlled sentence patterns would improve clarity.
