Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three requested points: you explain that you want experience working with others, list useful qualities such as organisation and communication, and state that mornings from Monday to Friday suit you. The purpose of the letter is clear, and the availability details are relevant. However, some points are only briefly developed. For example, you do not explain why this particular museum interests you, and the skills are listed without showing how they would help with museum duties such as assisting visitors or organising exhibits. The request for unpaid work is also phrased as wanting to “know about” it rather than clearly applying. State your application directly and add one or two specific supporting details.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter has a clear overall arrangement: the opening states its purpose, followed by paragraphs about motivation, skills and availability, then a closing. This makes the main information easy to locate. You also use basic linking expressions such as “Firstly,” “So,” and “Therefore.” At times, however, these links feel mechanical or do not show the relationship precisely; “So” does not clearly follow from the preceding sentence about gaining experience. Some sentences within paragraphs are loosely connected, and the final availability sentence combines several ideas without a clear structure. Use transitions only where they clarify the logic, and separate the reason for your schedule from your request for a morning placement.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use a range of relevant vocabulary, including “organizational skills,” “communication skills,” “decision-making skills,” and “voluntary work,” so the reader can understand the main message. However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or unnatural, as in “few cause of doing job without pay,” “working area,” and “get an experience of doing working.” Spelling errors such as “sitution,” “availble,” and “responsibities” also reduce accuracy. Some expressions are repeated, particularly “work” and “skills.” Build a more precise set of phrases for applications, such as “gain practical experience,” “contribute to the museum,” and “assist visitors,” and check spelling before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a reason clause with “because” and a result introduced by “Therefore.” The main message remains understandable, but some grammatical errors affect clarity and naturalness. For example, “There are few cause” has incorrect number and article use, while “It would be great a chance” has an incorrect sentence pattern. In “I have great an organizational skills,” the article and plural form do not fit together. The final sentence also lacks a clear subject after “and.” Practise accurate noun phrases and complete clauses, and use punctuation to separate connected ideas. More reliable control of these patterns would make your varied sentences easier to follow.
