Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address all three requirements: you explain your interest in history and culture, describe relevant qualities and possible duties, and give specific weekend hours. The application purpose is clear and the closing is appropriate. The reasons for applying and your suitability are relevant, but they are mostly listed rather than developed; for example, you could explain how your interest in historical objects would help you engage visitors. Availability is also slightly unclear because “I may available on some weakends” seems to qualify the earlier statement that you are free every Saturday and Sunday. Clarifying whether your schedule is regular or occasional, and extending one or two supporting details, would make the response more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0

The letter has a clear progression from your reason for applying, to your qualities, to your availability and closing. Paragraphing supports this structure, and phrases such as “Regarding my availability” help signal a change of topic. The reader can follow the application without difficulty. Some linking is a little mechanical, particularly the repeated use of “I” to begin sentences, and “However” introduces a contrast that is not fully explained by the surrounding information. The final availability sentence also makes the schedule less clear. Varying sentence openings and making the relationship between your regular hours and possible weekend changes explicit would strengthen the flow further.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a suitable range of vocabulary for a formal application, including “historical objects,” “communicate politely,” “follow the instructions,” and “provide basic information.” These choices make your interests and potential contribution clear. However, several spelling and word-choice errors reduce accuracy, including “museam,” “Infact,” “resonable,” “weakends,” and “opourtunity.” There are also less natural combinations such as “work well in team” and “daily task.” Aim to check spelling carefully and learn common collocations as complete phrases. More precise wording for your museum duties and qualities would add flexibility while keeping the tone appropriately formal.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple sentences and more developed structures, including “I would like to learn more…” and “I would be grateful if you would consider my application.” Most of the message remains easy to understand, and the main ideas are expressed clearly. Some grammatical errors persist, however: “work well in team” needs an article, “I may available” is missing a verb, and “I can work from 10 a.m to 3 p.m on both days. However” needs clearer punctuation and spacing. The sentence about being available on some weekends also needs a complete, clear structure. Review articles, verb forms, and sentence punctuation, then proofread to catch these errors.
